Concordium’s First Grantee — Bictory!

Bictory x Concordium

Ploughing virgin lands, any farmer would admit, is a dreadful task. But like every painstaking venture, it pays. It rewards the labourer with its fertility. Fertile happens to be an apt description of Concordium. This blockchain has set sail on a journey to usher the world into regulatory-compliant web3 applications. A grey area that presents a truckload of opportunities when tapped into for the general advancement of the blockchain space, businesses, and contributors.

We’ve been the valiant farmers at Bictory Finance, cultivating the ready lands of Concordium to demonstrate and further its adoption, usability, and functionality. In alignment with our core values of bringing safety to investors in the DeFi and NFT space through regulatory compliance and core-level identifiable privacy, we’ve selected this fourth-generation blockchain to build out a haven for these actors.

As you may already know, we’ve been planting seeds on the Concordium lands. We’ve been quite impressed with the progress made by our team in understanding its technologies and forging them into valuable applications. In fact, our work will serve as groundwork for other builders to quickly bootstrap and get some real-world commercial Reg-Dapp going.

Today we are humbled to announce that we’ve received Concordium’s open and free grant worth $40k paid out in three tranches for BictoryNFT!

BictoryNFT is our curated NFT marketplace launching with a one-off, premium full-rights-transferred monumental 12K NFTs collection — Terrestria. The grant will be used to build out the BictoryNFT marketplace, which will house NFTized content of various kinds from recognised artists with proven track records. Bictory’s NFT marketplace will be the first of its kind on the Concordium blockchain taking this curated approach. We will also help artists build and deliver their collections to the masses. Moreover, what distinguishes Bictory’s marketplace from all others in the NFT space is its inheritance of Concordium’s inherent Identifiable privacy feature.

The benefits of this feature know almost no bounds as it helps raise security, curb unsolicited NFT transactions, and better the user experience. The funds from the received grants will be used to implement bleeding-edge technologies, seal deals with partnership leads in the pipeline, and put the marketplace in the face of everyone that matters.
We are humbled by this recognition of our diligence in building out regulation-receptive web3 technology and extending the edge of compliance into the NFT community. This is additional fuel for our already burning fire to build a home for NFT creators, flippers, and investors.

This is only the beginning!
